Dedicated URLs
Create separate endpoints for dev, staging, or individual feature branches.
We built Probe after spending too many late nights wrestling with broken webhook signatures and silent serialization bugs. Generate a dedicated URL, route your third-party events into it, and inspect the unparsed headers, query strings, and raw JSON bodies as they arrive.
Most webhook integration bugs come down to an unexpected character in an HMAC header or a framework silently stripping custom query parameters. When a third-party webhook hits your Probe URL, we capture the exact incoming TCP payload before any parser touches it. You get every header key-value pair, the full unmutated request body, and the sender origin IP right on your dashboard screen.
Create separate endpoints for dev, staging, or individual feature branches.
Inspect Stripe-Signature, X-Hub-Signature-256, and auth tokens directly.
Check custom webhook path parameters and query strings as they landed.
Order events chronologically to catch race conditions across concurrent webhooks.
Measure payload sizes down to the exact byte and view origin IP addresses.
Webhooks rarely fail in clean, linear patterns. An upstream database lock triggers a 504 gateway timeout on round one, your application worker throws a 500 error on round two, and the provider finally gets an HTTP 200 after an exponential backoff. Probe correlates every retry under a single delivery token with exact hop latencies so you know if your handlers handled the spike.
You shouldn't need a local ngrok agent or a custom auth token just to inspect an incoming POST request from your staging environment.
Create an isolated endpoint and copy the unique HTTPS URL to your clipboard.
Paste the URL into Stripe, GitHub, or Shopify, or send a manual curl POST.
Click any captured event to inspect raw bytes, headers, and parsed JSON side-by-side.
